Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to manage an international product area within the Radio Frequency Solutions (ARS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). This position will manage the sustainment of a portfolio of radar systems through all phases of the program life cycle from proposal through execution to closure.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience in program management or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Program or project management experience
  • Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, or similar business processes
  • Experience with sustainment programs
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Program Management Level 5 Certification or ability to obtain within one year
  • Experience working Performance Based Logistics military sustainment programs
  • Experienced leader competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results
  • Strong communication, dedicated work ethic, a willingness to learn on the job, and a committed to being an active participant in our team and customer focused culture
  • Demonstrated results creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
  • Experience working with U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD) primes, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners and other customers on government programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
  • Experience developing and implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies for franchise programs

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and implementation management while working with US and international teams
  • Support all phases of the program life cycle from proposal through implementation to closure
  • Work closely with aircraft manufacturers, US and international government representatives, and in country business partners
  • Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and major reviews with the customer
  • Manage cost, schedule, scope, operational security and customer interface activities
  • Coordinate and comply with applicable Export/Import regulations as required
  • Travel up to 20%, to participate in domestic and international business engagements with customers, partners, and teammates
