About The Position

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support a high-priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI). This division provides enterprise support to more than 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases, as well as technical and policy guidance for C3I infrastructure across USAF enterprise applications. This full-time position is based at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD

  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies (DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101)
  • Experience with acquisition documentation (DAES, MAR, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of systems acquisition and program management in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101.
  • Gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Assist program managers with schedule and cost baseline assessments, provide problem-solving recommendations, and identify alternative actions.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and orally, delivering high-quality documentation including briefings, plans, and reports.
  • Plan and assess system acquisitions covering development, production, and deployment of systems and equipment.
  • Develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory documents (e.g., DAES, MAR).
  • Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings, and IMP/IMS schedule reviews.
  • Prepare and present program status briefings to senior management.
