The Compliance Program Manager (CPM) is a dedicated, client‑facing operational governance leader responsible for ensuring all enterprise service delivery teams consistently meet and exceed the client’s rigorous compliance, security, operational, and performance requirements. This role serves as the single threaded owner for compliance governance, bridging client expectations with internal operational execution across all functional domains (service delivery, projects, installation, remote services, quality assurance, security/compliance, and subcontractor management). By maintaining strict adherence to compliance standards and operational disciplines, the CPM reinforces client trust, mitigates operational risk, drives higher-quality delivery, and ultimately supports pipeline expansion and future sales growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Compliance Management, Program Management, Risk Management, or related governance roles.
  • Background in a regulated or high‑standards operational environment (data centers, technology, security, critical infrastructure, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of audit readiness, compliance frameworks, operational controls, and cross‑functional governance.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate across technical and operational teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale clients with strict standards and complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive compliance oversight program aligned to the client’s standards, regulatory obligations, audit requirements, and internal policies.
  • Monitor delivery team performance against compliance KPIs (SLA adherence, audit pass rates, training completion, certification validity, etc.).
  • Ensure subcontractor and vendor compliance with client and enterprise requirements.
  • Own documentation accuracy and completeness, ensuring all artifacts (background checks, certifications, service records, maintenance logs, audit trails, etc.) are submitted on time and meet audit specifications.
  • Conduct periodic internal compliance audits across operational teams (Security, Data Center operations, etc.) to ensure alignment with client execution standards.
  • Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, drive remediation, and track closure activities.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional reviews to verify adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Support root‑cause analysis for compliance‑related deviations and ensure long-term corrective actions are adopted.
  • Act as the primary point-of-contact for all compliance‑related communication with the client.
  • Prepare, deliver, and maintain compliance dashboards, audit reports, monthly/quarterly business review inputs, and executive‑level reporting packages.
  • Communicate proactively about compliance trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all operational resources have completed required client certifications, safety training, and compliance coursework prior to job assignment.
  • Maintain an active roster of employee and subcontractor compliance status and proactively manage renewals.
  • Lead compliance‑related onboarding for new resources assigned to the account.
  • Build and maintain a closed-loop process for compliance improvement across the operational landscape.
  • Identify systemic gaps and collaborate with internal functional leaders to refine processes, tools, and governance models.
  • Champion compliance‑by‑design methodology within delivery teams to minimize risk before it happens.
  • Leverage compliance performance as a strategic differentiator to enhance proposal responses, strengthen renewal positioning, and build confidence with executive stakeholders.
  • Provide compliance input for RFPs, SOWs, audits, and capability assessments requested by the client.
