About The Position

Want to join a fast-paced operationally-focused team? We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to serve as the Deputy Program Manager (DPM) of a large, technical, on-site cyber team. The DPM should have experience managing contracts over $10M per year. Responsibilities: Serve as a backup to the Project Manager (PM) and assist with the preparation and delivery of CDRLs. Responsible for the successful development, implementation, schedule, and cost performance of major programs of both large single projects and/or several small projects in accordance with contract requirements. Provide overall leadership and guidance for all Program personnel, including assigning taskings to personnel, supervising ongoing operational efforts, and managing overall Program performance. Oversee the quality and efficiency of the Program, to include both operational issues and business processes. Establish a direct line of accountability to their top management at the Mission Partner site, ensuring effective communication and coordination. Address the overall project management and administration requirements specific to the Mission Partner site. Conduct regular and formal meetings with the government at the Mission Partner site and propose appropriate formats and schedules for informal communications, such as periodic emails, ensuring efficient and timely exchange of information. Apply a Customer-centered approach to all interactions required in support of position activities.

Requirements

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
  • BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+
  • At least 4 years of experience in a management capacity.
  • Identify relevant skill sets of potential hires and motivate team members to mission success.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
  • Assist in monitoring the contract, subcontracts, and funding.
  • Prepare forecasts of program financial performance.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project, and financial reports.
  • Must be highly motivated and dedicated to deliver results in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Proven communication skills especially with senior Government officials.
  • Commitment to recognize, understand, respect, and collaborate effectively within multi-contract environments and Government lines of authority.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
