As a Senior Program Manager within the Worldwide Business Process Engineering organization at Apple, you will work with a globally dispersed cross-functional team to conduct root cause and alternatives analysis to add new supply chain capability, drive process optimization, increased scale & efficiency, and minimize cost. You will prepare appropriate documentation including current state, value stream mapping, scenario & sensitivity testing, financial analysis, and business case development. You will oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope and definition, and provide oversight of a global portfolio of projects. You will have the ability to find opportunities and lead business process re-engineering efforts. You will also be responsible for leading medium to large size, global cross-functional projects, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, build customer loyalty, and drive revenue. This position requires you to work with senior management and global teams to define processes and system roadmaps and drive improvements of the organization. This effort is directly linked to our commercial strategy and needs to be forward-looking.

  • Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications.
  • Assess current processes. Develop and implement future business processes.
  • Serve as liaison to Operation teams to develop technology systems solutions (requirements, user testing, etc.) to support WW SOS initiatives.
  • Partner with key cross-functional partners to solicit customer and associate feedback to identify initiative improvement opportunities for implementation.
  • Act as a liaison between the business teams and IS&T (Information Systems and Technology) to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions.
  • Drive the design, development, implementation and management of solutions for Customers.
  • Work with business leads to define and manage business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term divisional strategies.
  • Implement new ideas effectively within the Apple culture. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Provide functional subject matter expertise.
  • Manage complex projects to major milestones. Develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates; obtain executive approval and funding.
  • Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success.
  • Facilitate project related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work.
  • Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project, management, and senior executive teams.
  • MBA is desired.
  • Proficient at leading multiple efforts simultaneously in a global company.
  • Proven ability to handle complexity, deadlines, and meet cost constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across project and management teams.
  • Ability to lead and enhance project team effectiveness.
