The Senior Program Manager - Technical exercises expert judgment and leverages tools of automation to lead non-routine and complex programs, working to set and achieve objectives tied to functional targets. The role may involve coordinating the activities of other team members and providing mentorship to newer staff. This position requires creative problem-solving to address program complexities and ensuring alignment with business goals. The individual will also serve as a key liaison for cross-functional partnerships. Depending on the organization this role is aligned to, the role may be responsible for internal and/or external client-facing initiatives. What you’ll do Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing LLMs (e.g., Google Gemini), as relevant, for tasks such as brainstorming solutions, deep research, summarizing technical documentation, drafting communications, summarizing complex technical information, and enhancing problem-solving efficiency across the development lifecycle. Explore and experiment with emerging AI technologies relevant to software development, proactively identifying opportunities to incorporate new AI capabilities into existing workflows and tooling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration within the software development lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices; share use cases for successful experiments with stakeholders for broader use.Proactively leverage AI technologies to streamline workflows, simplify complexity, and enhance overall efficiency. Lead the execution of multiple complex programs, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives. Mentor and guide junior team members, offering advice and oversight to ensure high-quality program execution. Serve as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, ensuring program alignment with customer expectations. Manage program risks and employ creative solutions to overcome challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results, maintaining accountability for program outcomes. Prepare and present executive-level reports and updates on program progress and outcomes. Coordinate team activities and ensure that program tasks are completed on time and within scope.
