Amazon Air (AIR) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives across the Global Strategic Programs and Initiatives (GSPI) team. This role is highly cross-functional and regularly engages senior and executive leaders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive execution across multiple organizations. The Senior Program Manager will own high-visibility, ambiguous initiatives critical to Amazon Air’s ability to scale, innovate, and operate efficiently. This role is responsible for independently defining program structure, scoping and executing large cross-functional projects, managing tradeoffs and risks, and establishing PMO best practices, processes, and tools to govern AIR’s portfolio of strategic programs. The Sr. PM will create and maintain an effective operating rhythm by tracking timelines and metrics, coordinating across teams, and enabling executive decision-making through clear written narratives, executive business reviews, and senior leadership communications. This role requires strong program management fundamentals and comfort operating in ambiguity. The Sr. PM will independently develop and execute solutions, move seamlessly between strategic and tactical work, and build structure where none exists. Success in this role requires clear written and verbal communication and the ability to earn trust with executive leaders and diverse stakeholder groups in a fast-paced, Day One environment.
