About The Position
Global Road Safety's (GRS) mission is to 'lead the world's safest transportation network, protecting the lives of people on road everywhere.' GRS supports all road transportation business lines and units globally where Amazon performs logistics services. We are seeking someone to join the Global Road Safety Team as a Senior Program Manager, Road Safety Standards. This role will focus on the development and review of standards, policies, and procedures related to road transportation safety that impact Last and Middle Mile operations globally. As Amazon continues to innovate, our policy documents must evolve with the speed of business to maintain the highest safety standards that impact transporters, our customers, and the communities we serve. Standards, policy, and procedure creation will be informed by regulatory requirements, consensus standards, and assessments from subject matter experts with transportation operational experience.
