About The Position

We are looking for a Sr Program Manager, PMO (Project Management Office) - Strategy & Planning to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings - Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will lead project management for procurement and supply chain initiatives. You will champion the PMO process and platform, ensuring projects are effectively tracked, properly resourced, and delivered on schedule-all while inspiring collaboration and sparking innovation across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong experience leading project management functions, ideally within procurement or supply chain areas.
  • A proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and foster collaboration.
  • Experience establishing or integrating PMO practices in operational settings.
  • Proficiency in project management software, Excel, and presentation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support program and project managers focused on procurement and supply chain initiatives.
  • Own and enhance accountability and transparency within the PMO process.
  • Facilitate dynamic workshops and cross-functional events that generate, evaluate, and prioritize project ideas.
  • Build and maintain a robust project pipeline aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Serve as a process owner and facilitator, enabling teams without directly executing project tasks.
  • Elevate the visibility and credibility of the PMO function to secure proactive involvement in future projects.
  • Partner closely with leadership and coordinate with PMO leaders focused on network optimization and freight distribution.
  • Track project progress, deliver regular status updates, and ensure timely achievement of project goals across the portfolio.
