About The Position

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Program Manager (Level L) to join our PAC-3 program in Huntsville, Alabama as we ramp up production rates to meet the growing demands of our customers! This is your chance to step into one of four pivotal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) roles for either Seeker, Power Assembly, Processor, and Gimbal. In these dynamic positions, we are looking for leaders who bring extensive experience in managing IPTs, fostering cross-organizational relationships, and directing teams to achieve ambitious program goals. Your leadership will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of not only production but also sustainment, development, and capacity contracts that support our program across your respective IPT alignment. Requirements

  • More than 1 year of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • More than 1 year of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders
  • More than 1 year of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • More than 1 year of experience in a leadership role as a Program Manager, Product Line Manager or Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead
  • This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
  • “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employees assigned into the IPT for the respective product line to execute the IPT plan
  • Align resources from the capabilities/functions to support IPT needs
  • Lead process improvements and establish Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees across the IPT
  • Understand how the business operates, including policies, practices, trends, and competition
  • Manage/execute to IPT to allowable budget
  • Lead and develop proposals for IPT scope in support of aligned IPT
  • Understand the big picture and inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, anticipating future events and applying systems thinking principles to enhance performance
