About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking motivated a Senior Project Management Specialist to join our C-17 Heavy Maintenance and Depot Logistics team in San Antonio, TX . Position Responsibilities: Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case Develop and establishes lead time requirements Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a role requiring project/program management skills
• 10+ years’ experience in creating complex spreadsheets (e.g. creating Pivot tables in Excel) and/or creating database program applications (e.g. Access applications)
• 7+ years’ experience in aircraft heavy maintenance, C-17 preferred
• Experience working in a cross functional environment
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with USAF customers
• 2+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience with commercial, military or commercial derivative aircraft sustainment, field services and/or maintenance; C-17 experience is a plus
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders
• Bachelor's degree preferred
