The Space Force & Air Force IT Division has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Financial Analyst. Under the leadership of the Division Finance & Business Operations Senior Manager, you will be closely involved with the preparation and management of the program’s EACs, forecasting, cost analysis, service center allocations, business cases, and other duties as assigned. This role will coordinate on a routine basis with the Program Manager and various other teams within Leidos including billing, collections, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline and 8+ years of prior program financial control.experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years experience.
  • Familiar with multiple contract types such as CPAF, FFP, and T&M
  • Detail oriented, independent worker, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • The ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security clearance
  • US citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Leidos financial systems and processes: Costpoint, Fusion, Deltek, PowerBI
  • Excel expertise and proficient with PowerPoint presentations
  • Government contracting industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain monthly EACs in close coordination with finance and program teams, including in-depth variance and trend analysis
  • Oversee program invoicing including preparation and submission of invoices, coordinating with the client on invoicing matters, and coordinating with team members to ensure invoices are accurate and timely
  • Prepare and present ad hoc and routine financial forecasts, reports, and analysis
  • Work with program manager and control account managers (CAMs) to identify risks and opportunities that will impact program financials as well as potential mitigation measures as appropriate
  • Work closely with other functional areas such as the contracts team, subcontractor team, etc. on financial related elements while managing the program’s expenses.
  • Lead project set-up and/or closeout as appropriate for task orders as the need arises including establishment of project structures, management of special project authorizations (SPAs), liaising with SLATE set-up focal point to get subcontractor’s access to the system, etc.
  • Month-end closings and variance/trend analyses
  • Service Center budgeting and variance analysis
