The Senior Program Analyst will provide Program Planning and Control (PP&C) support for the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). This position is located in Huntsville, AL. Your future duties and responsibilities: Support program and project PP&C activities such as program management, cost estimating, EVM, resource management, contract management, scheduling, and risk management. Support the development of requirements for unique integrated reporting for programs and projects that includes technical, cost, schedule, EVM, and risk analysis. Assist with “what-if” scenario analyses and work-around planning. Development, updating, and execution of project management, concept of operations, configuration management, safety, and risk management plans. Development and maintenance of the program and project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), WBS Dictionary, detailed project schedule, and cost estimates. PP&C Integration support to NASA's annual Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.

  • Support program and project PP&C activities such as program management, cost estimating, EVM, resource management, contract management, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Support the development of requirements for unique integrated reporting for programs and projects that includes technical, cost, schedule, EVM, and risk analysis.
  • Assist with “what-if” scenario analyses and work-around planning.
  • Development, updating, and execution of project management, concept of operations, configuration management, safety, and risk management plans.
  • Development and maintenance of the program and project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), WBS Dictionary, detailed project schedule, and cost estimates.
  • PP&C Integration support to NASA's annual Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • 20 years of applicable experience (15 years in Aerospace/Research and Development)
  • PP&C experience
  • Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Proficient understanding of EVM policies and principles and use of analytical software
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Analysis of integrated cost and schedule data, Joint Confidence Level (JCL) analyses (i.e., cost and schedule), and other general business management functions.
  • Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
  • Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.)
  • Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
  • Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.
