About The Position

This job posting is for upcoming opportunities. We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst - Chemical and Biological Weapons Elimination with extensive expertise with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Threat Reduction and Arms Control (DASW(TRAC)) Chemical and Biological Weapons Elimination (CBWE) Division within the Washington Headquarters Services in Falls Church, VA to join our team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in relevant area.
  • 5 years of DoD experience in project management, requirements development, technology evaluation, and acquisition management.
  • Familiar with CBWE mission space.
  • US. Citizen.
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical background in chemical or biological sciences.
  • Experience with international CBWE programs and partnerships.
  • Knowledge of Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and Biological Weapons Convention (BWC).
  • Experience with technology assessment and evaluation.
  • Understanding of nonproliferation and counterproliferation strategies.
  • Strong technical writing and briefing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support work to enable development of integrated and enduring capability to destroy chemical and biological weapons within U.S. and abroad.
  • Provide evaluation of threats, identification of gaps and potential solutions, and development of investment strategy ensuring long-term access to innovative technical solutions, trained operators, and ability to execute required support functions.
  • Support management of requirements collection, validation, and prioritization to inform PPBE process.
  • Evaluate, integrate, and synchronize DoD's capabilities to address current and future foreign chemical and biological weapons and materials of concern to potentially eliminate threats.
  • Review and provide technical and analytical assessments on integration of U.S. material solutions and overall capabilities to eliminate foreign chemical and biological weapons and materials of concern.
  • Assist in facilitating/coordinating all research, engagements, strategies, and reviews to ensure effective and efficient execution of foreign chemical and biological elimination tasks.
  • Assist in maintaining resource investment strategy to inform senior OSD leadership decisions on material investments and ensure DoD is optimally positioned to address current and future threats.
