Produce and manage the production of construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications for lighting, power distribution and control systems. Coordinate with other disciplines, project managers and clients to meet project and client expectations. Provide construction administration for electrical projects to include responding to requests for information, change orders, inspection and punch list generation. Supervise and/or mentor other electrical engineers and designers. Lead and manage projects for the electrical group to include marketing, cross-functional team coordination, client engagement and interaction and communication.

  • Develop electrical design solutions for industrial and municipal projects, in particular for water and wastewater facilities.
  • Produce and manage the production of construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications for lighting, power distribution and control systems.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, project managers and clients to meet project and client expectations.
  • Provide construction administration for electrical projects to include responding to requests for information, change orders, inspection and punch list generation.
  • Supervise and/or mentor other electrical engineers and designers.
  • Lead and manage projects for the electrical group to include marketing, cross-functional team coordination, client engagement and interaction and communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer with ability to be licensed in multiple states.
  • Related experience in Commercial and/or Industrial system design, with experience in water and wastewater facilities a plus.
  • Experience as the electrical discipline lead on project and responsible to the project manager or client.
  • Project management experience, or interest/capability in becoming a project manager.
  • Understand design codes, standards, specifications and ability to interpret them.
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, field surveys, construction observation, etc.
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience
  • Proficient in applicable electrical codes, interior lighting design, exterior/outdoor lighting design, voltage drop calculations, power distribution design, one-line diagrams, schematics, back-up power systems, and control systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conducting field investigations, condition assessments, writing reports and interfacing with clients.
  • SKM proficiency in short circuit, load flow, fault analysis, and arc flash.
  • Experience with water and wastewater facility design.
  • Revit and/or AutoCAD experience.
