Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a Material Planning and Logistics manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in people management and supervisory leadership, fostering high-performing teams and driving productivity.
  • Exceptional project planning and execution capabilities, consistently delivering initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers
  • Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer-first mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, Transportation & Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Safety and MPL experience
  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
  • Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
  • Will be involved in the two-year automation project to bring in Automated Mobile Robots (AMRs) to enhance plant-wide operational efficiency.
  • Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies
  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
  • Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others
