The Senior Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Senior Production Supervisors are: Resilient Detail oriented Ambitious Demonstrate high integrity Responsibilities What you'll do... Use and have a thorough understanding of Six Sigma (Black Belt Certified requirement), Lean and Problem-Solving Methodologies and Ford Production System (FPS) approach to improve all areas of the business Implement and lead Ford NA Six Sigma strategy within manufacturing plant Coach Plant OCM and Green belts in strategic problem solving and Six Sigma methodologies Coach, lead and assist problem solving teams at Ford facilities and suppliers Teach Six Sigma Green Belt classes and help prepare students for certification Coach and teach Ford Production System methods including standards and project selection Coach and mentor Green Belts to use 6 Sigma tools properly and complete projects Run 6 Sigma Kaizen projects to support resolution of significant issues Lead 6 Sigma continuous improvement projects to resolve significant issues Liaison with other business units on best practices and 6 Sigma knowledge Support implementation of Ford Production System standards and continuous improvement tools Drive implementation of continuous improvement methodology and sustainability strategies with plant leadership Provide Ford Production System assistance and training to the plant as required Coach and teach Ford Production System methods including standards and project selection. Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook) Interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and plant management team members Demonstrate an ability to resolve diverse problems Work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessary Work and multi-task in fast pace environment Teach Quality Operating System methods and principles Additional Duties...
