About The Position

Martin-Baker America is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Planner to join our team. This position, which oversees developing and scheduling, along with maintaining how materials move throughout the production cycle, is an essential part of production planning. As a candidate with success in planning and inventory management, the chosen candidate will guarantee effectiveness, accuracy, and alignment with company objectives. Building solid working connections and promoting efficient communication with other IPT members, manufacturing staff, and cross-functional departments are key responsibilities of the Senior Production Planner in Integrated Product Teams (IPT). Coordinating processes across several products, defining labor needs, raw material, equipment requirements, and setting order completion deadlines are all necessary for this role. The planner will collaborate with engineering and other business streams to support configuration control procedures, identify priority products and operations to improve workflows and analyze production output data to boost efficiency. Strong communication abilities are crucial since the planner must promptly reply to requests for reports and data from the company's MRP system while accurately communicating in formation to leads, managers, and production line workers. Technical proficiency in scheduling, inventory control, and production planning is needed. As well as the ability to decipher intricate product specifications, drawings, and manufacturing producers. The ideal applicant will demonstrate independence in overseeing tasks, the ability to work with product line teams and dedication to collaborating at all organizational levels. Success in this position depends on accuracy, diligence, and a proactive attitude to problem-solving.

  • SAP experience
  • Inventory policy development
  • Prior experience with government orders and production requirements
  • Exposure to continuous improvement cultures such as 6S and Lean concepts
