About The Position

Senior Production Pilot (Prod Rotorcraft) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Production Pilot to support AH-64E Production Flight Testing. This is a full time position in Mesa, AZ. Position Responsibilities: Plans and conducts maintenance test flights for production aircraft to determine system functionality, aircraft performance and structural integrity of aircraft Responsible for performing Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC),in-flight troubleshooting/verifications, and MTF of aircraft to ensure airworthiness upon completion of production build Conduct briefings to flight crew members and maintenance personnel in support of the various MTP aircraft operations Utilize the AH-64E IETM, AH-64E Maintenance Test Flight Manual, and the AH-64E Operators checklist to ensure safe flight operations

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Successfully completed United States Army AH-64E Apache Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC) or a contractor equivalent training and qualification approved by the Government Flight Representative (GFR)
  • Successfully completed the AH-64 Aviation Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) and Maintenance Test Pilot Course (MTPC) or have completed an equivalency evaluation conducted by the US Army Directorate of Evaluation and Standardization (DES) IAW DCMA Instruction 8210.1 (AR 95-20) and AR 95-1
  • FAA rated rotorcraft-helicopter pilot with commercial privilege
  • Possess a minimum of 1,000 flight hours as an AH-64D/E Pilot-In-Charge (PIC)
  • Possess a minimum of 100 flight hours as an AH-64D/E Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP)
  • Current Army or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Class II Flight Physical

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Successfully completed US Army Aviation Life Support Equipment Officer Course
  • FAA Commercial Pilot - Airplane; Instrument Airplane ratings
  • Strong scheduling skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Meet currency requirements per AH-64D/E Aircrew Training Manual (ATM)
  • Previous MTP experience operating the AH-64E Apache in desert environments.
  • 10+ years aviation maintenance experience
  • 3+ years Aviation Life Support (ALSE) experience
