Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Proven manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and closely with other operators with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, including knowledge of various tools such as wrenches, drivers, sockets, and pliers.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Good verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Intermediate computer/software knowledge.
  • Demonstrated logistical thinking and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the cleaning of feed tanks, weighing and adding raw materials, mixing or blending materials, and transporting feed tanks to point of use.
  • Operate and maintain the Capsule Filling machine and LEMS sealing machine, ensuring efficient and effective performance, including in-process sampling and quality checks.
  • Manage order and size changes, involving the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of machinery.
  • Conduct inspections for quality defects, operate the vacuum chamber for leak detection, and handle packaging and labeling of finished goods.
  • Perform QA checks, raw material handling, and finished goods material handling.
  • Safely handle and lead any hazardous waste generated during the process.
  • Provide first-line mechanical and diagnostic support.
  • Train colleagues in all three areas of Licaps-DFS manufacturing.
  • Serve as a backup for other Licaps Operators and the Licaps Team Leader.
  • Ensure attendance on plant site/office site as crucial and work weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
