About The Position
The position involves managing an assigned production area with a focus on new and existing horizontal wells that are producing on gas lift, rod pump, or plunger. The role requires close collaboration with a full asset team, including field operations, marketing, reservoir, drilling, completions, facilities, geology, land, and regulatory groups. The candidate will coordinate with field operations teams to optimize base production and reduce downtime, spending time in the field weekly or as needed for project support. Responsibilities also include managing and optimizing chemical programs, creating AFE's for various operations, coordinating with wellsite supervisors and service providers, leading well reviews, diagnosing failures, monitoring well performance, tracking spending, and demonstrating leadership in health, safety, and environmental practices. The role also involves training engineering techs and maintaining professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
