About The Position

The Senior Production Associate is a hands-on, overnight position responsible for material handling, forklift operations, and production support activities within the Ogden facility. This role focuses on safely moving materials, supporting production flow, and maintaining inventory accuracy during the grave shift. While this position does not carry formal leadership responsibility, it serves as an experienced production resource and provides operational backup support when the Production Lead is not present by following established procedures and escalating issues appropriately.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely to load and unload trucks
Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility
Pull and stage materials for production based on work orders and schedules
Support inventory organization, accuracy, and basic inventory counts
Perform hands-on production tasks as assigned, including assembly of packaging components using corrugated, foam, plastics, and adhesives
Operate production tools and equipment as trained (e.g., gluer, cutters, trimmers, pouch machines)
Follow work instructions, job specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensure materials and completed work meet quality and accuracy standards
Help maintain workflow continuity using established schedules and procedures
Answer basic process questions to assist team
Provide feedback to production supervisor on employee relation issues
Identify and escalate equipment, material, safety, or quality issues to the Production Supervisor
Provide general team support
Comply with all safety policies, forklift protocols, and PPE requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Promptly report safety hazards, equipment issues, or quality concerns
