About The Position

If you’re interested in working on complex software problems that have a real-world impact, this role could be a great fit. Elysia Battery Intelligence is building software that helps manage large-scale battery systems, a key part of the global clean energy transition. These systems generate huge amounts of data, and Elysia’s platform turns that data into real-time insights to help operators run them safely and efficiently. The engineering team comes from Zitara, where they spent seven years developing advanced systems for safety-critical and high-performance applications. Now at Elysia, they’re applying that experience to grid-scale battery storage - something that hasn’t existed before. Backed by Fortescue, one of the world’s largest green energy companies, the team is building a platform that processes hundreds of thousands of data points per second and feeds actionable control signals back to energy operators.

Requirements

  • 5- 10 years in C++ in production environments
  • Linux-based systems
  • Real-time, high-performance, or safety-critical software

Responsibilities

  • Work on high-performance, real-time systems using C++
  • Help design and build a new platform from the ground up
  • Take ownership of a core part of the system within your first year
