About The Position

As a Senior Product Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by driving Quality tools in NPI to accelerate projects while mitigating risk by ensuring consumer needs are met, test methods are robust, specifications are well defined, and manufacturing processes are capable. You will support laboratory, products, processes, and systems such as addressing customer complaints and working with the team on corrective actions. Additionally, you will support and interact with customers and consumers through complaint investigations, resolution, and trending including monthly Quality Dashboard reports. Your role will also involve troubleshooting, investigating, and analyzing for non-conforming product testing and disposition, driving existing product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement methods and tools, and ensuring commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of combined experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Management, Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and/or Design Control.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working with ISO9001:2015.
  • Experience working with suppliers in a quality improvement capacity.
  • Experience with statistical analysis.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • ASQ certification.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Quality tools in NPI to accelerate projects while mitigating risk.
  • Ensure consumer needs are met, test methods are robust, specifications are well defined, and manufacturing processes are capable.
  • Support laboratory, products, processes, and systems addressing customer complaints and working on corrective actions.
  • Interact with customers and consumers through complaint investigations, resolution, and trending including monthly Quality Dashboard reports.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and analyze for non-conforming product testing and disposition.
  • Drive existing product quality enhancement through continuous improvement methods and tools.
  • Ensure commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications change.
  • Support change related to design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction efforts.
