About the position
Product Execution: You are working to fully realize the vision for the Cake platform. You must plan, coordinate, and execute on our core platform product, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget and scope. Customer Engagement and satisfaction: Collaborate with customers to research new functionality for products. Ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Handle escalations swiftly and maintain strong trust-based relationships with all stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams such as founders, engineers, designers, customer support, and marketing. Plan project timelines, spot potential risks, and arrange the sharing of resources. Risk Management & Reporting: Identify, analyze and communicate project risks to stakeholders. Provide transparent status updates, resolve issues, and keep all contributors focused on project goals. Process Optimization: Establish and maintain best practices, including Agile methodologies where appropriate. Continuously refine processes for efficiency and scalability across multiple customers and internal teams. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create clear, detailed records of project plans. Document project goals, timelines, and task assignments. This shares knowledge across the organization.

Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in project management, preferably within the technology sector or AI/ML space.
- Track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects involving AI/ML technologies, data engineering, or platform integrations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Deep communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Working knowledge of Agile or similar project management methodologies.
- Affinity for leveraging AI, open-source technologies, and facilitating tangible impact for customers.
- Comprehension of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
