About The Position

The Senior Product Manager for Transportation will be a key member of the Walmart International Supply Chain Product Team, focusing on transportation products within the International markets. This role will involve driving the product strategy, vision, and execution for first and mid-mile transportation products across regions including Mexico, Canada, Central America, and Chile. This team is responsible for platform products in Supply Chain (SC) space. The SC portfolio includes replenishment, inventory and flow, transportation (first & mid mile) and fulfillment. This team caters to our Int’l markets – Mexico, Canada, Central America and Chile. This role in particular will lead the optimization products in Transportation space.

Requirements

  • Expertise in retail Supply Chain and especially transportation space.
  • Experience creating tech. products using cutting-edge technology including AI
  • Well versed in data analysis, SQL
  • Worked in a large enterprise (preferably retail) with a complex stakeholder matrix
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proven results in delivering value and driving the organizational strategy forward
  • Demonstrate grit, resilience and have a high sense of agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product management.
  • 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products,

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the transportation problem space, proactively anticipating customer needs.
  • Own complex transportation problems, build new ideas and strategies, and drive the "go-to-market" strategy for transportation products.
  • Guide the development of product roadmaps that are cross-functional in nature.
  • Build trust and partnerships to influence partners and drive alignment.
  • Extract insights from data to promote business value and outcomes, demonstrating awareness of best practices in transportation.
  • Influence and build consensus among stakeholders by leading discussions with varying viewpoints and diverse audiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on product and technology matters.
  • Be a thought leader in transportation innovation through the incubation and adoption of new and emerging technologies.
  • Exhibit deep domain expertise in transportation and retail Supply Chain to drive the product and business strategy.
  • Mentor other product managers in the team, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.
