About The Position

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager with a solid digital product management background to drive discovery and delivery of optimizations to our technology platform. The ideal candidate is well-versed in a variety of digital product management practices, owns projects from concept to final production, and takes a data driven approach to decision making. Reporting to our Director of Product, the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for: Crafting business cases to define larger initiatives and help determine priority within our overall product portfolio. Defining roadmap for product/product line. Conducting user discovery along with our User Experience team to uncover user pain points and problems. Review new feature requests with stakeholders to determine priority within the overall product backlog. Writing user stories and acceptance criteria to document requirements for development teams. Partnering with several cross-functional teams – including User Experience, Software Engineering, Operations, and Business Development – to deliver improvements to our technology platform.

Requirements

  • You have 5 plus years of full-time experience in digital product management.
  • You have a proven track record of leading multi-functional teams to deliver on your product strategy and vision.
  • You have the ability to understand complex data and ideas and explain them through appealing, clear, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented; nothing falls through the cracks with you in charge.
  • You are proficient in Jira, TFS, or similar backlog management tools.
  • You are proficient with behavioral analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • You have the ability to understand technology architecture and database model.
  • You possess strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams.
  • You are a great team player and come to work with a constructive mindset and positive attitude.
  • You have high integrity and exceptional commitment to delivering results, and have high empathy for serving underserved communities.
