Our team is building the infrastructure to power these plans for health insurance payors. With Helm, our clients offer simpler health plans to their members, helping them navigate to higher-value care. Our team has specialized in Dynamic Copay solutions since 2020, and Helm is the only independent platform in the market. We have grown rapidly since our launch, working with clients from local health plans to the nation’s largest health insurers. The market is forming around us, making it an exciting time to join! The Role We’re seeking a Product Manager to join our Product team. You’ll work closely with both the Product and Engineering teams, collaborating cross-functionally to build and improve our Claims Engine. The Claims Engine is a critical component of our product offering, enabling Helm to calculate and assign copays to claims. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving our Claims Engine and supporting products.

  • Lead the build and continuous improvement of the Claims Engine
  • Develop and document Claims Engine requirements
  • Partner with Engineering to build Claims Engine requirements
  • Monitor ongoing Claims Engine performance and identify and prioritize improvement projects
  • Oversee the Claims Engine product roadmap
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain the Claims Engine product roadmap
  • Prioritize Claims Engine work alongside Engineering as part of bi-weekly sprint planning
  • Report out on roadmap status to internal teams
  • Develop and manage supporting Claims Engine products
  • Interface with clients for implementation and production support related to the Claims Engine
  • Prior experience in Product Management at a startup
  • Prior experience managing and prioritizing a product roadmap
  • Prior experience in the health insurance industry and baseline knowledge of claims operations and claims data exchange (strongly preferred)
