About The Position

The Platform Security team at Blizzard is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the future of secure and engaging gameplay, impacting millions of players globally. In this role, you’ll lead the strategic direction and development of Platform Security products and services. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to design and implement solutions that protect our player community and maintain fair gameplay. We’re looking for someone with a blend of strategic vision, strong technical understanding, and exceptional communication skills to lead and execute our Platform Security initiatives.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on security or Platform Security systems.
• Strong technical background in security protocols, Platform Security mechanisms, and software development best practices.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering complex technical projects, with a clear focus on player safety and fair gameplay.
• Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to stay ahead of evolving threats in the gaming industry.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Platform Security systems and tools is highly desirable.
• Experience working with multiplayer or live-service games.
• Understanding of gaming industry regulations and their impact on security practices.
• Familiarity with programming languages like C++ or Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for Platform Security initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of security solutions into Blizzard’s gaming ecosystem.
• Drive planning, organization, and execution of projects, from roadmap milestones to feature delivery, while continuously optimizing Platform Security solutions to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and security teams to develop, test, and deploy robust Platform Security systems.
• Define project goals, manage timelines, and track performance using KPIs, ensuring security standards are met.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and conduct post-project reviews to improve future initiatives.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and leadership, ensuring transparent communication and fostering innovation within Platform Security solutions.
