The Sr Product Manager, Revenue Recognition will lead development of our backend billing and revenue recognition platform, including refining existing internal tooling and capabilities, and identifying opportunities to build new capabilities for future commerce enhancements. A successful candidate in this role will have deep understanding of payment systems to support a global audience, develop a strategic roadmap that meets current and future business needs, and have a passion for delivering a world class customer experience. As a product manager in the organization, a successful candidate will inspire and build a culture of collaboration, product excellence and high performance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years product management experience.
  • 3+ years experience in commerce / payment system products.
  • Experience launching and developing products and features for a global audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership to deliver exceptional customer experiences and customer empathy.
  • Experience developing consumer facing experiences across multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, connected TV).
  • Experience working with and managing the needs of multiple stakeholders and business teams.
  • Experience driving clarity in ambiguous situations and drive forward progress.
  • Experience with data analysis, and driving insights and making business decisions through data.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a consistent and accurate revenue recognition process via S4/BRIM
  • Assure that Sales Tax/VAT is accurately charged and recorded.
  • Work with partners (IAPs, B2B2C partners) to assure optimal customer billing and payment experience
  • Design and deliver new and innovative billing capabilities to support new product structures through our revenue recognition platform.
  • Collaborates with partner product teams, marketing, analytics and CS teams to source feedback and opportunities for enhancement; develops and communicates roadmap and prioritization with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develops and measures KPIs for the commerce platform, and ensures appropriate instrumentation and reporting capabilities are in place to monitor KPIs.
