About The Position

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. Shorts' mission is to give everyone a voice and show them the world through short-form video. We seek to provide people with a safe, entertaining, and informative feed of videos that they can find value in. We aim to inspire people to create Shorts through feed recommendations, making it easy to go from watching to creating. This role focuses on improving the algorithms that shape the Shorts feed for viewers. You will contribute to the infrastructure that enables new and casual users to discover Shorts for the first time. You will help us build the foundational systems to gain a better understanding of viewer interests through active exploration, and you will help us build the infrastructure that fosters connections between viewers and creators by encouraging deeper engagement with videos.
