Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 10 years of experience with product management with a focus on enterprise storage or database products.
• Experience designing for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Experience pricing IaaS or PaaS product offerings.
• Experience working across multiple teams and delivering platform wide solutions.
• Experience driving results in collaborative and cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Craft a compelling Platform storage product-line idea and long-term roadmap that aligns with market opportunities and company goals, and lead the development of business cases for new product initiatives.
• Understand customer pain points, use cases, and the competitive landscape in Storage, conduct market research, competitive analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to gather insights.
• Manage the product life-cycle, from ideation and requirements definition to launch, iteration, and end-of-life.
• Partner with Google product areas, engineering, and support to define product requirements, create compelling go-to-market strategies, and ensure product launches.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.

Benefits

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
