About The Position

The AWS FinTech team is seeking a bright, self-driven, and collaborative Sr. Product Manager-Technical to build and scale AI- driven headcount management application at Amazon. Headcount management at a global scale is complex, with multiple systems, mechanisms, and processes that often do not provide the flexibility that individual teams or organizations require to run their businesses. We are building the next gen headcount management application for the future and seeking a highly driven individual to help us build a world class product for effectively managing organization headcount across Amazon. As a Senior Product Manager Tech, you'll be responsible for the complete product lifecycle from vision, strategy, identifying customer needs, design, development and adoption. You will partner with world-class development and UX teams, global Business leaders at all levels, and Recruiting, Finance, and HR team to deliver and scale this application. You will spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted narratives and working backward documents. Our ideal candidate has exceptional problem-solving skills with experience building highly technical products, sound business judgment, and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. You have a proven ability to execute strategically and tactically and are excited to take on new, ambiguous challenges that will be industry-defining. Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Responsibilities

  • Owning the vision for the product and clearly articulating the strategy to management
  • Setting the direction for world-class user experience design
  • Business & product roadmap planning, developing features, and defining requirements
  • Preparing launch plans, determining release goals, and prioritizing features
  • Developing and using metrics to improve the business constantly
  • Working with global users to drive adoption
