About The Position

As a Product Manager Technical (PMT) within Amazon's Selection and Catalog Systems, you will own solutions to a large set of customer-facing product catalog issues that influence critical business processes and product discovery. Our work is at the leading-edge of Gen AI, machine learning/information retrieval algorithms and big data analytics leveraging the best of what AWS (Amazon Web Services) has to offer to run ML at scale. You will manage business requirements, design, performance expectations and goals with all stakeholder teams. You will partner with management to define strategy and build road maps for the projects you own. You will track real time service levels and schedule adherence, and ensure the individual stakeholder teams meet and exceed their performance targets. You will be responsible for the overall coordination, quality and productivity and will be the primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs that you run.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end to end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, ensure quality and productivity, and serve as the primary point of contact for worldwide stakeholders.
  • Internalize Amazon's Leadership Principles and apply them to guide programs to success.
  • Scope and deliver large projects across the Amazon Catalog Systems.
  • Collect business and systems requirements from internal and external customers.
  • Write specifications including success criteria and drive project schedules from design to release.
  • Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between stakeholders to develop optimal solutions.
  • Provide direct visibility to senior leadership on all aspects of your programs.
