About The Position

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead the continued evolution of SITA OptiFlight, our flagship flight optimisation platform. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of aviation innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and roadmap, working closely with engineering, data science, sales, airline customers, and internal stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of flight efficiency and operational intelligence in global aviation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in airline flight operations, with strong knowledge of flight optimisation and fuel efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of Product Management in software development and B2B products.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Aviation Management) preferred.
  • Pilot License (Private or Commercial) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex product lifecycles in agile environments.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across global, multicultural teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with market analysis, customer segmentation, and product positioning.
  • Experience building or managing industry partnerships or alliances is a strong plus.
  • English fluency is mandatory. Spanish and French are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OptiFlight, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data science, UX, delivery, and commercial to bring new features and modules to market on time and at high quality.
  • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and design through development, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with airline customers, pilots, dispatchers, and operational stakeholders to gather insights and validate product direction.
  • Champion agile product development practices, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, and customer satisfaction using data-driven KPIs and feedback loops.
  • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence and market analysis to inform strategic decisions and positioning.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to define go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and value propositions.
  • Represent OptiFlight at industry events, customer briefings, and internal leadership forums.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with aviation stakeholders, including airlines, OEMs, ANSPs, and regulatory bodies.
