At Microsoft AI (MAI) we are pushing the boundaries of technology to create products that will change lives. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager (PM) with proven technical and data skills to help build the next wave of capabilities of our personal AI, Copilot.

You will impact the experience of hundreds of millions of users by creating experiences for the Copilot app on PC, collaborating with internal and external partners to ship fast and innovate.
As part of the Copilot team, you will also have the opportunity to shape your own journey and think about meeting customer needs on Mobile, Web, and more. Our broader organization, Microsoft AI (MAI), is responsible for Copilot, Bing, Edge, and generative AI research. We combine world-class AI research together with top notch design and product craft.

Starting January 26, 2026, MAI employees are expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles (U.S.) or 25 miles (non-U.S., country-specific) of that location. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product management OR equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product management OR equivalent experience.
• Experience using AI tools to create products.
• Experience building consumer products for large screens (Windows / Mac / Web).
• Experience in personal productivity, search, education, or messaging products.
• Experience working with Machine Learning or Large Language Models.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to an inclusive, growth‑oriented team culture.
• Experience with data analytics and experimentation tools; familiarity with SQL or coding (Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to defining a product area by understanding user needs and behaviors, writing product requirements, and supporting end‑to-end development, launches, and iterations.
• Work through roadblocks and help teams ship quickly and iteratively.
• Translate business goals into product strategy, user experience, and technical requirements in collaboration with UX and AI model teams.
• Define success metrics, support experimentation, and use data to guide decisions.
• Dive into data to understand user behavior, product performance, and new opportunities.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
• Model our culture and values in daily work.
