We’re looking for a Sr. Product Manager (focusing on lockers) with hardware and software development experience to lead multiple critical product lines throughout their lifecycle. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and prioritize requirements, define the product vision, and oversee execution to bring new, market-leading solutions to life.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing hardware + software products concurrently across their lifecycle.
  • Solid technical foundation with hands-on experience in hardware design, software development, or systems integration.
  • Familiarity with product certifications, regulatory compliance, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, UL, FCC, ADA, CE).
  • Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and product backlog management.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including defining and tracking KPIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with a hands-on, collaborative mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives and external partners.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment with ability to pivot quickly and use creativity to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong financial acumen (ROI, pricing models, cost analysis).
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams (engineering, design, operations, supply chain, marketing, sales).
  • 10+ years of professional experience in product development, engineering, or strategy roles.
  • 5–10 years of product management experience with hardware and software products.
  • 5+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Rally, etc.) and PLM tools.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CPM, NPD, or SAFe certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Customer Insights Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies. Leverage customer research, data analytics, and user testing to validate opportunities and drive prioritization. Explore innovations from adjacent industries to inspire differentiated solutions. Partner with business development, sales, and marketing to identify unmet customer needs and whitespace opportunities.
  • Product Vision & Roadmap Develop and own a clear product vision and 5-year roadmap aligned with company strategy. Translate business strategy, customer insights, and market opportunities into actionable product initiatives. Define success metrics (revenue, adoption, ROI, CSAT/NPS) and monitor product performance against them. Build and present business cases to secure investment and executive alignment.
  • Product Lifecycle Management Lead all phases of the product lifecycle: concept, design, development, testing, launch, growth, and sunset. Drive cross-functional execution across hardware engineering, software engineering, design, QA, operations, and supply chain. Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with a focus on customer value and technical feasibility. Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to deliver high-quality products on time and within cost targets. Collaborate with manufacturing and operations to ensure products are scalable, reliable, and cost-optimized. Oversee certification, compliance, and quality assurance processes for hardware and software products. Develop go-to-market plans and ensure effective handoff to commercialization teams.
  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership Communicate vision, progress, risks, and forecasts to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Facilitate alignment between engineering, design, operations, marketing, and finance teams to achieve product goals. Influence and lead without direct authority across diverse, cross-functional groups. Mentor and develop product team members to strengthen organizational capabilities.
  • Commercialization & Customer Success Partner with sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure successful product launches and adoption. Develop training, enablement, and support materials for internal and external stakeholders. Monitor post-launch performance, customer satisfaction, and product usage; identify opportunities for optimization. Drive continuous improvement and iteration based on customer feedback and data.
