Requirements

  • 5–8+ years Product Management experience, including 3+ years as a Technical Product Manager, owning API/integration or platform capabilities end-to-end (connectors, auth, permissions, multi-tenant concerns), with a track record shipping integration-heavy workflow products.
  • Strong technical depth: hands-on coding experience strongly preferred (production, internal tools, automation), plus evidence of AI-native integration prototype vibe-coding. Comfortable define data contracts, cross-product schemas, and debugging integration flows with engineers.
  • Experience working on AI-enabled or automation-heavy products, where external system data is translated into product actions or contextual signals. Comfortable partnering with AI/ML teams to define what context/tools are exposed (not how models are built), and platform-level capabilities.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional execution across platform engineering, AI/ML, infra, design, and GTM in fast-moving organizations; able to drive alignment without authority.
  • Exceptional prioritization and strategic judgment, especially in sequencing integrations based on workflow value, ecosystem leverage, and business impact—not vanity logos.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for third-party integrations, defining which workflows to support, how data should flow into core experiences, and how integrations materially improve user value.
  • Design and evolve a unified integration layer that supports both direct API connectors and MCP-based tool/server surfaces for agent consumption—covering permissioning, multi-tenant isolation, standardized action schemas/data contracts, and “tooling primitives” that scale across products.
  • Translate external system signals into agent-ready context or actions, partnering closely with AI/ML, platform, and application teams to ensure auth-to-action safety, tool-call observability, and improved AI outcome outcome quality within Plaud.
  • Define success metrics and lead execution against them, including integration setup success, integration-dependent usage, context completeness, and workflow adoption outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, design, AI, platform infra, and GTM to ensure integrations ship with high reliability, meet security/permission requirements, and align with broader product architecture.

Benefits

  • Founding Team: Opportunity to join the founding team of this new initiative, with meaningful ownership and impact on a fast-growing startup.
  • Competitive Compensation: $180K-$220K base salary+performance bonus+Equity.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Top-tier healthcare for employees and dependents, including dental and vision, and a generous employer subsidy.
  • Retirement Planning: 401(k) plan for full time employees with company matching.
  • Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO, plus 13 paid holidays.
  • New Parent Leave: 12 weeks of paid time off to spend time with your new family, regardless of gender.
  • Hybrid Office: Minimum of 3x in office per week.
  • Gear: New hires are equipped with their choice of new top-of-the-line laptops and workstation setups.
