About The Position

At Emburse, you’ll not just imagine the future – you’ll build it. As a leader in travel and expense solutions, we are creating a future where technology drives business value and inspires extraordinary results. Our AI-powered platform helps organizations modernize financial operations, increase visibility, and optimize spend across the enterprise. Lead Emburse’s Travel Reshop product suite across Air and Hotel to maximize effectiveness and ROI for enterprise clients. You will stay current on managed travel trends and the commercial travel ecosystem to keep Emburse competitive and forward-looking—covering: Air: pricing & yield management, corporate contracting, fare construction, exchange rules/fees, schedule changes, NDC/GDS dynamics, and the role of TMCs/OBTs in servicing. Hotel: revenue management, rate dynamics (BAR/negotiated), cancellation policies, taxes/fees, availability/content sources (GDS, direct, aggregators/wholesalers), property data quality, and the role of OBT/TMC workflows in booking/servicing.

Requirements

  • BA in business admin, finance, marketing or related fields.
  • 8–12+ years in a relevant mix of travel industry and/or travel technology roles, with demonstrated ownership of B2B/SaaS product outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in airline pricing/yield + corporate travel servicing ecosystems (as required in the prior Air role) and working knowledge of hotel revenue management and hotel distribution.
  • Experience working for (or closely with) a TMC, GDS, OBT, airline, hotel tech/content provider, or adjacent travel platform.
  • Exceptional analytical capability; ability to turn messy travel data into prioritized product decisions and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence across diverse teams and executive audiences.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and ambiguity (because travel always finds a way).
  • High attention to detail and strong delivery orientation.
  • Experience with analytics tools strongly desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Product Management experience at a SaaS/B2B software company in the travel industry.
  • SQL proficiency, experimentation/measurement design, API/platform product experience, and familiarity with travel booking/servicing workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Product ownership & delivery
  • Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: discovery → definition → delivery → go-to-market → iteration.
  • Build and manage a Reshop roadmap (Air + Hotel) grounded in customer outcomes, savings impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics; partner tightly with Engineering through delivery and release.
  • Define, track, and improve product KPIs (e.g., savings captured, rebook success rate, false positive rate, time-to-action, attach/adoption, client health, NPS).
  • Market, customer, and competitive intelligence
  • Monitor managed travel and supplier/distribution trends to innovate and maintain best-in-class Reshop products (expanded from Air-only to include Hotel).
  • Conduct competitor and market research; maintain a regular cadence of client feedback loops to validate and refine the Reshop strategy.
  • Identify and prioritize client success opportunities and product enhancements based on performance data and customer needs.
  • Cross-functional leadership & value articulation
  • Articulate, demo, and evangelize the value proposition of Air + Hotel Reshop to audiences from managers to C-suite, procurement, and partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Operations/Implementations, Marketing, Support, and Engineering to align objectives and execution.
  • Educate and train internal teams on positioning, demos, use cases, UX/UI, and GTM strategy.
  • Recommend product packaging and pricing strategy consistent with Emburse SaaS philosophies.
  • Partner / ecosystem management
  • Maintain strategic third-party relationships critical to product maintenance and enhancement (expanded to include hotel content, property data, and servicing partners as applicable).
  • Participate in industry meetings/events as an SME in Reshop, managed travel ecosystems, and savings optimization.
  • Air Reshop domain specifics (examples of focus areas)
  • Automated identification of lower total-trip-cost exchange opportunities (fare + fees) and policy-compliant alternatives.
  • Exchange eligibility/rules handling, waiver logic, schedule-change automation, and servicing workflow integration.
  • Distribution strategy implications (GDS vs NDC vs direct connects) and how they affect Reshop detection + execution.
  • Hotel Reshop domain specifics (examples of focus areas)
  • Detection of rate drops and better-value alternatives while controlling false positives (room type matching, taxes/fees, add-ons, currency, cancellation terms).
  • Rebooking automation/assistance workflows that work with enterprise constraints (policy, approvals, negotiated programs, preferred hotels, traveler experience).
  • Content quality: property identifiers, room mapping, amenity normalization, and availability variance across sources.
