Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
• Experience in developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
• 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
• 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the product roadmap for key database initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader Google Cloud infrastructure goals and customer modernization needs.
• Partner closely with engineering, UX, and program management to translate complex market requirements into clear Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and launch high-quality database features.
• Develop and articulate a compelling product narrative that unites stakeholders around a shared goal, securing executive support for critical investments in hybrid and edge solutions.
• Define and track quantitative and qualitative metrics (e.g., adoption, latency, business) to measure product success and guide data-driven decision-making.
• Map end-to-end buyer and user journeys to shape portfolio messaging and positioning, driving cross-functional consensus to deliver solutions that solve real enterprise issues.
