Join us to pursue your passion and unleash your potential. Overview SurePayroll is looking for a dynamic product manager (mid and senior levels) to support our product strategy and development. Sitting at the crossroads of engineering, design, and go-to-market teams, Product Management is responsible for identifying short and long-term opportunities within our product platform and taking them to market. You have an entrepreneurial and innovation mindset, experience bringing initiatives forward through to execution, and a laser-focus on value creation for our customers and our business. You are deeply curious, data-driven, forward-thinking, and nimble. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS, a proven record of managing the full product lifecycle, and desire to join a team of like-minded individuals to build best in class products.

Requirements

  • User research with partners, ability to understand unique needs of partners around reporting, administration, billing, in addition to core product functionality
  • Experience with embedded SaaS products in fintech a plus
  • Experience with white-labeled systems, APIs
  • Influencing cross functional partners, leading teams, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership
  • Execution rigor - Thinking through end-to-end operations, detailed requirements for engineering, and can see around corners in execution preventing technical problems from arising at launch
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize the most important products to launch.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically
  • Experience building early stage products strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for our embedded/reseller offering , in line with our product strategy.
  • Support product vision, strategy, roadmap, and full product lifecycle management in context of broader organizational goals and strategies.
  • Prioritize strategies and tasks based on evolving needs; generate buy in across teams and communicate effectively for full awareness.
  • Present roadmaps for our embedded offering , product enhancements, and recommended changes to senior management based on value and ROI.
  • Plan, kick off, and develop initiatives, collaborating across Engineering, Design, Sales, and Service.
  • Define features and communicate their function and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Create clarity and structure in ambiguous situations.
  • Monitors competition, identifies and analyzes significant market or internal data changes . Uses constructive thinking and innovative solutions to recognize trends and make impactful decisions.
  • Focus on user experience; conduct user interviews as needed to deeply understand user needs. Ability to ideate with design and engineering. Sketch wireframes, write clear briefing/requirements docs, and coordinate resources to action.
  • Defines success criteria and metrics for each release, evaluates in the post-launch phase, and leverages data to guide and influence future product/feature investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where process is fluid.
  • Manages ongoing relationships with external partners and monitors industry for possible new partners.
