About The Position

This role is responsible for defining and delivering HP’s Edge AI Platform—a GPU‑accelerated platform layer that provides common runtime, lifecycle, security, and operations capabilities to enable ISVs and enterprise teams to develop, deploy, secure, and operate AI applications on edge devices at scale. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for a multi‑layer platform spanning developer tooling, model lifecycle packaging, runtime integration, OTA operations, health/SLA automation, and security. You will work across hardware, firmware, OS, AI runtime, cloud, and partner ecosystems to deliver a differentiated platform lsyrt that accelerates time‑to‑value and remote operability for edge AI workloads. This position is located in Fort Collins, Colorado; or Houston, TX.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in software or platform product management, including ownership of developer platforms, infrastructure software, or edge/embedded systems.
  • Experience working with edge or distributed systems, including devices, fleets, or on‑prem deployments.
  • Familiarity with AI inference runtimes, GPU‑accelerated workloads, or real‑time pipelines (video, perception, or low‑latency inference).
  • Working knowledge of security concepts such as artifact signing, secure boot, attestation, or isolation (containers, sandboxing).
  • Experience working with Python‑based ecosystems and developer tooling.
  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments as they relate to edge management, registries, and device connectivity.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with diverse teams and articulate ideas at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management processes.
  • Prior experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or deep learning
  • Prior experience in enterprise solutions development
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or Advanced degrees in AI-related fields are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end outcomes by driving cross‑functional alignment across engineering, GTM, and operations teams to ensure coordinated delivery of Edge AI solutions.

  • Define platform capabilities that enable safe, reliable deployment and fleet-scale operations across heterogeneous hardware, accounting for real ‑ world constraints.
  • Define platform ‑ level security, trust, and compliance requirements for AI software running on edge devices.
  • Drive requirements for operability, reliability, and maintainability of edge deployments, including monitoring, recovery, and lifecycle management.
  • Communicate platform feature prioritization, timelines, and acceptance criteria to engineering teams to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure platform software effectively leverages device capabilities without tightly coupling to specific implementations.
  • Work closely with ISVs, customers, and partners to validate platform interfaces and operational workflows, improving time ‑ to ‑ value and adoption.
  • Align cross ‑ functional teams (hardware, software, security, sales, marketing) around shared platform priorities and delivery milestones.
  • Define and track success metrics related to adoption, reliability, usability, and overall platform impact.
