About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager for Device AI at Apkudo, you will be responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end vision for Device AI, including on-device diagnostics, computer vision, ML-driven grading, and AI-assisted decisioning across the device lifecycle. This role requires a strong understanding of AI capabilities and scalable platform products. You will partner deeply with Engineering, Data Science, and Device Passport team to translate AI capabilities into well-defined, versioned, and supportable product surfaces (APIs, SDKs, schemas, test definitions). This position entails a high level of technical product management expertise, with significant ownership of technically complex products. You will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that align with business goals and drive revenue growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, with significant ownership of technically complex products.
• Strong SDK product experience (required), proven experience building, scaling, or productizing SDKs used by external developers or partners.
• Experience with AI/ML-powered products, hands-on experience shipping AI-driven features such as computer vision, diagnostics, automation, or decisioning systems.
• Platform mindset, experience building reusable, extensible product surfaces rather than one-off customer solutions.
• Developer-first thinking, strong intuition for developer experience, documentation, sandboxing, versioning, and integration workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed product decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive revenue growth and business success.

Responsibilities

• Own the Device AI product strategy and roadmap, defining and driving the end-to-end vision for Device AI, including on-device diagnostics, computer vision, ML-driven grading, and AI-assisted decisioning across the device lifecycle.
• Lead SDK productization and platform readiness, owning the strategy, requirements, and delivery of a customer-agnostic SDK, enabling OEMs, carriers, and partners to integrate Device AI capabilities into their own apps, appliances, and workflows.
• Translate AI capabilities into scalable platform products, turning ML models, diagnostics, and AI agents into well-defined, versioned, and supportable product surfaces (APIs, SDKs, schemas, test definitions).
• Partner deeply with Engineering, Data Science, and Device Passport team, act as the technical product counterpart to backend, ML, mobile, and appliance teams driving clear requirements, trade-offs, and sequencing.
• Define developer experience and integration patterns, design SDK flows, sandbox environments, documentation expectations, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility to support external developers and partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies that align with business goals and drive revenue growth.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs to inform product decisions.
