About The Position

This is an exciting role of ‘team lead’ for our cross-functional “Credit Building” Mission Aligned Team (MAT) to help people build credit and at the same time build sustainable Product-Market-Model-Channel (PMMC) Fits. This is a newly built team wherein you will be accountable for the OKRs and outcomes of your product domain in growth, activation, setup, habit, retention, LTV:CAC, and other key metrics, for our existing credit building products and any new products that help users build credit. You will work directly with engineers, designers, data analysts, growth leads, legal, compliance and many other cross-functional partners to develop product strategy, organize and execute sprints, and deliver outcomes. You’ll report directly to the Sr. Group PM for Financial Products and interface and present to executives (GM, CEO, CTO, SVP Product, etc.) on a routine basis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2C product management, with experience in finding PMMC fits and Credit Building products.
  • Background in financial products, with consumer fintechs or similar.
  • 5+ years collaborating with design, engineering, and data teams.
  • 2+ years experience working with Growth (Ads, Landing page optimization, activation).
  • Proven track record of shipping successful products from 0 to 1 and scaling from 1 to 10.
  • Strong project management and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive large meetings effectively.
  • Data-driven analytical thinking with the ability to back statements with facts.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity with a strong bias for action.
  • Humble, flexible, and willing to engage in both high-level strategy and detailed execution.

Responsibilities

  • Set and deliver on OKRs and the mission of the MAT, updating stakeholders on challenges, wins, and blockers.
  • Be accountable for your cross-functional MAT team, their performance, and the outcomes of the team.
  • Collaborate and lead in sprint and agile ceremonies to unblock teams and plan the team's direction.
  • Create detailed documentation for products and experiments, conduct A/B tests, and study the impact of these products.
  • Influence key executives and leaders, keeping vertical and product colleagues aligned.
  • Analyze customer needs and product performance using various tools to make data-driven decisions.
  • Take accountability for the customer experience from end to end in your domain.
  • Research and understand customer needs and engage with the product to build empathy.
