About The Position

Resideo is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the exciting growth space in smart home services. This role will manage Resideo's B2B Enterprise software designed for service professionals to provide trusted, proactive service to homes and small-to-medium businesses. The candidate will lead a software portfolio and roadmap of offerings designed for Security Dealers, HVAC Contractors, and B2B partnerships, opening new value streams for customers and Resideo. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross functionally with customers, engineering teams in hardware, software and data sciences. We are developing offerings on the cutting edge of Resideo's future. You will also advise on go to market strategy, planning and execution for these offerings, including value propositions, pricing, and commercial launches. Responsibilities include developing and managing software as a service value offerings, business model evolution and end-to-end customer experience management. The Senior Product Manager will report to the Product Director of B2B Enterprise Software.

Requirements

  • 7 years of professional experience, with 5 years of Product Management experience.
  • 3 years of industry experience in professional security monitoring.
  • 3 years of B2B subscription management.

Responsibilities

  • Key performance metrics include (but not limited to): Software adoption and subscription revenue growth, renewals and ARPU, and customer journey mapping with data analysts.
  • Deliver annual operating plans and strategic roadmaps for Pro Software Product Planning and Strategy.
  • Conduct voice of the customer (VOC), primary/secondary/observational research to facilitate development of product plans and identification of new products.
  • Identify, charter and lead strategy projects to provide strategic direction for innovative growth opportunities that leverage technology trends, market trends and integrated solutions.
  • Develop and maintain long term product strategies/road maps for our product portfolio.
  • Performance Lead for all product marketing related activities and cross-functional activities to maximize overall product line performance including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, quality and delivery.
  • Lead the implementing of product strategies and plans for the portfolio and coordinate necessary cross-functional activities.
  • Manage product cost, price, quality, delivery, profitability and data integrity for the portfolio.
  • Develop and quantify strong value propositions for the portfolio to clearly articulate differentiation to customers, channel partners and the sales team.
  • Participate in cross-functional New Product Development and introduction (NPI) teams.
  • Lead all marketing aspects associated with the product definition, product development, pricing, market introduction, sales tools and promotion plans.
  • Understand pricing tool kit and analytical techniques.
  • Develop the positioning strategy for the portfolio considering price, volume, market share and profitability.
  • Monitor and assess competitive products and programs; adjust strategy as necessary.
  • Evaluate portfolio for product obsolescence, re-positioning, etc.
  • Identify and drive process improvement within the product management function.
  • Develop appropriate marketing plans to ensure we clearly articulate our value proposition to customers, channel partners and sales.
  • Develop collateral as appropriate; web content, launch kits, competitive alerts, sales communications, application notes, etc.
  • Partner with Training and Support teams to develop content for customer, and internal functions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the portfolio.
  • Develop tools to help customers with their buying decisions, such as: Product application review, Competitive assessments, Sales Presentation, Education content (white papers, videos, etc.), ROI/Value calculators, FAQs, Customer success stories.
