About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product execution and delivery of AI and agentic capabilities embedded in core enterprise workflows. This role focuses on translating process intelligence (how work actually happens), business demand, and architectural guidance into AI-ready products that are adopted, trusted, and deliver measurable business value. You will own specific AI capability domains and work closely with engineering, architecture, data, and operations teams to ensure solutions operate reliably at scale. This is a hands-on product ownership role. It is not a technical architecture, data science, or program management position. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based from either Houston or Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus at least 8 years of product management experience, including demonstrated ownership of AI-enabled or decision-automation outcomes, or demonstrated equivalent experience and education
  • Proven experience owning and delivering complex, cross-functional products or platforms from definition through adoption
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into actionable product plans and requirements
  • Experience working closely with engineering, architecture, and operations teams in iterative delivery models
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance business priorities, AI constraints, and delivery realities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering AI-enabled, automation, or decision-support products in production environments
  • Familiarity with agentic workflows, AI-assisted user experiences, or enterprise automation tools from a product ownership perspective
  • Exposure to human-in-the-loop designs, evaluation metrics, or Responsible AI considerations
  • Experience measuring AI success beyond delivery, including adoption, trust signals, correction rates, and business impact
  • Track record driving behavior change and adoption for new capabilities in enterprise or regulated environments
  • Experience operating in federated or matrixed product and delivery organizations

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product ownership for assigned AI capability domains, including backlog management, prioritization, and release planning
  • Translate business needs and process insights into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics
  • Implement AI product patterns, including human-in-the-loop workflows, guardrails, evaluation criteria, and defined autonomy levels aligned with portfolio standards
  • Partner with Architecture, Data, and Engineering to ensure product requirements align with platform capabilities, Responsible AI constraints, and operational realities
  • Collaborate with Delivery and Deployment leaders to ensure AI capabilities are rollout-ready, monitored, and continuously improved based on real-world usage
  • Track and report AI performance indicators such as adoption, correction rates, user feedback, and realized business value
  • Incorporate user corrections, operational feedback, and observed behavior into backlog refinement and iteration cycles
  • Identify opportunities for reuse, standardization, and capability extension across the broader AI portfolio
  • Act as the primary day-to-day product interface for delivery teams, providing scope clarity, timely decisions, and execution focus
