About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who is both a strategic product leader and a hands-on builder. In this role, you will directly prototype and implement AI-powered workflows using Python, LangChain, and orchestration frameworks, while shaping the roadmap for automation across Bankrate. You’ll bridge product vision with execution—designing endpoints, building agents, and validating workflows—before partnering with engineering to productionize at scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product management and applied AI engineering: comfortable writing code, experimenting with frameworks, and driving cross-functional adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, applied AI/ML, or workflow automation.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build AI/automation workflows hands-on (Python, LangChain, or similar).
• Proven track record of prototyping solutions and driving them to scale with engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, DSPy, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools, LLMOps platforms, and API integration.
• Ability to balance hands-on coding with strategic product ownership.
• Strong communicator who can align executives, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passionate about AI and automation, with curiosity to constantly learn and experiment.

Responsibilities

• Build and prototype AI-powered workflows and agentic automations in Python and LangChain.
• Create integrations with internal APIs, data pipelines, and external services.
• Define and test orchestration endpoints that are scalable and compliant.
• Rapidly iterate on proof-of-concepts to validate ROI and use cases.
• Own the product vision and roadmap for automation-first workflows.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, then deliver working prototypes.
• Partner with engineers to scale and harden workflows you’ve proven out.
• Define success metrics (ROI, adoption, efficiency) and report outcomes to leadership.
• Stay ahead of advances in LLM frameworks, orchestration tools, and agent technologies.
• Evaluate, test, and recommend adoption of new platforms and techniques.
• Champion automation-first thinking across Bankrate.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Marketing, and Operations to identify automation opportunities.
• Work closely with Analytics to build feedback loops and continuously optimize workflows.
• Partner with Growth and Content to test AI-driven publishing and marketing enhancements.
• Ensure all workflows are secure, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
