As a Senior Product Engineer of Google’s global compute infrastructure, you will bridge the gap between hardware design and flawless manufacturing execution. You will pioneer the systems that power the world's information, driving innovation and reliability across our next-generation server platforms at an unprecedented scale. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent engineering experience.
  • 8 years of experience in manufacturing or equivalent.
  • 8 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing or development management.

Nice To Haves

  • 10 years of experience in manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and integrating manufacturing hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy next-generation Google compute server platforms, optimizing high-performance infrastructure across a global manufacturing network.
  • Lead NPI initiatives by defining design for manufacturing requirements and architecting sophisticated test strategies that set the gold standard for manufacturing excellence.
  • Manage yield optimization and root-cause analysis, resolving complex technical escapes to maintain uncompromised product reliability and performance.
  • Drive operational innovation by scaling test efficiencies and cost-reduction initiatives that directly impact Google’s global hardware footprint.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and partner engineering teams to proactively evolve quality standards and manufacturing effectiveness.
