About The Position

As a Senior Product Developer at Epicor, you will be designing, prototyping, and shipping agentic AI capabilities across our ERP platforms. You’ll own product development end-to-end, working backwards from customer pain points to deliver AI-native experiences with ERP-grade reliability, security, and measurable impact. Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in full-stack software engineering or product development.
  • 3+ years’ experience mentoring engineers or leading technical efforts.
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and Python for backend development.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
  • Applied experience with agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, LLMs, or AI workflow automation.
  • Solid understanding of secure coding, observability, and scalable architecture.
  • Experience integrating with ERP systems and workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and Node.js for full-stack development.
  • Experience with ERP platforms in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Hands-on knowledge of GenAI tooling, vector databases, and embedding pipelines.
  • Background in data integration, ETL pipelines, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop scalable backend services using C#/.NET and Python, with occasional full-stack work in Node.js and Angular.
  • Integrate agentic AI and RAG features into ERP workflows, ensuring reliability, auditability, and human-in-the-loop design.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and Labs teams to define and deliver innovative product features.
  • Implement observability tools including logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and readiness checks for production systems.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, and safe deployment practices while improving developer experience.
  • Translate customer workflows into AI-native experiences with clear guardrails, evaluation harnesses, and risk controls.
  • Mentor peers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of technical excellence.
