About The Position

Slack is where work happens. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape thoughtful, high-impact product experiences used by millions of people every day. In this role, you’ll lead design for complex features or product areas, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and contribute to product and design strategy. You’re comfortable working in ambiguous spaces, reframing problems, and driving clarity for your team. This is a hands-on role with meaningful scope and influence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design for desktop or mobile
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design thinking and execution
• Experience leading design for complex features or product areas
• Ability to work independently and drive clarity in ambiguous situations
• Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers
• Understanding of design systems and scalable product patterns
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence decisions
• Experience leveraging AI in your design process to explore ideas, accelerate iteration, and improve outcomes

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing productivity, collaboration, or enterprise tools
• Familiarity with design systems at scale
• Interest in how AI can improve everyday work

• Influence cross-functional decisions beyond your immediate projects
• Help improve how design operates within your team
• Deliver experiences that are clear, scalable, and polished
• Improve alignment between user needs and business goals
• Elevate the quality and cohesion of Slack’s product experiences
